Red Chile Beef Chili

with smoked jalapeño

This chili starter adds the perfect flavors to a hearty pot of beef and beans. You can enjoy a delicious bowl with our small-batch, slow-simmered tomato, garlic and red chile seasoning sauce. Serve chili topped with sour cream and cheese—you’ll be warmed up in no time! 

Serves 4-6  |  Cooks in 25 Minutes

Ingredients

1     pound coarsely ground beef chuck 
1     small onion, diced
1     pouch Red Fork® One Pot Sauce 
1     can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with liquid
1     can (15 oz) pinto beans with liquid


Instructions

1.     Brown beef and onion in a 3-quart saucepan over med-high until cooked, about 10 min.
2.    Stir in all ingredients. Simmer, partly covered, stirring often, over low heat about 15-20 min. Season with salt.
3.    Serve with your favorite chili garnishes.

 

Variation: Substitute ground turkey for beef.
